Protex RVD has been thoroughly tested, exceeding national and IEEE standards for electrical safety isolation.
Australian Protex RVD standards and approvals:
- SAI Global certification: AS3100 and to part of AS 3190;
- NSW Office of Fair Trading Type Certification:
AS3100 and to part of AS 3190; - WorkCover NSW authority for use on worksites;
Protex RVD outperforms industry benchmarks and standards:-
- RVD is more than 4x faster than traditional Safety Switch (RCD)
- RVD does not have a fault current like an RCD
- RVD has no touch potential because it operates in 5 milliamps (RCD 30milliamps)
